My Ipad Keyboard Is Split Down The Middle. On the left-side menu choose General to display the general-purpose device settings on the right side of the screen. This makes it easier to type with your thumbs while holding the iPad with both hands.
The iPad can be a little difficult to type on which can be problematic when you need to return a bunch of emails. Activate the split keyboard using the steps outlined above. Docked mode places it at the bottom of the screen while undocked mode shifts it up to the middle.
