Ipad Mail Keyboard In Middle Of Screen. The iPad keyboard should now be floating about dead-center in the middle of the display. Then the iPad is considered undocked.
Scroll down the right side of the screen until you see Keyboard then tap that item to open the keyboard settings menu. The keyboard usually remains at the bottom when typing something but the keyboard now shows up in the center. You can undock the keyboard which is usually locked at the bottom of the screen and put it somewhere else such as the middle or at the top of the screen.
Select Add New Keyboard.
When going into email to type something in the body of the email the keyboard shows up in the middle of the screen. When it is floating at the center of the screen as in the image below. Touch and hold the keyboard button in the lower-right corner of the keyboard. Scroll down the right side of the screen until you see Keyboard then tap that item to open the keyboard settings menu.
